About Herbie Hancock: Possibilities
This documentary follows jazz pianist Herbie Hancock over an approximately 18 month period spent collaborating with pop recording artists. The film takes an intimate look at Herbie's personal take on life, and how it promotes a creative environment which helps artists to step outside their comfort zone, to go beyond expectations and explore new possibilities.
Film footage shows Herbie working with musical legends Carlos Santana, Sting, Annie Lennox, Paul Simon and Angelique Kidjo, young stars Christina Aguilera, Trey Anastasion, Jonny Lang and John Mayer, along with new faces Joss Stone, Damien Rice, Raul Midon and Lisa Hannigan.
