About Just Friends

When his high school crush, Jamie (Amy Smart), tells him she wants to be “just friends,” nice - but fat and geeky – Chris (Ryan Reynolds) decides to reinvent himself.  He moves to Hollywood , gets in shape, becomes a successful record producer and romances a young popstar.  No longer fat and geeky - but no longer that nice, either – Chris returns to the east on business and runs into Jamie.  Face to face with the girl of his dreams, it’s high school all over again for Chris, his hopes for a second chance soaring.  However, the road to love is rarely smooth - Jamie is not to be easily won, and then there’s that other guy with his eye on her for Chris to contend with.
