About Land of the Blind

A prisoner, Joe (Ralph Fiennes), recounts his experiences as an idealistic soldier in a world dominated by terror and revolution. As a younger man, he entered into an illicit camaraderie with political prisoner Thorne (Donald Sutherland), who succeeds in turning Joe against his own totalitarian government in a bloody overthrow. In the wake of revolution, Thorne asks Joe to take certain steps which draw the former conspirators into a bitter clash that spirals out of control until Joe’s former cohorts determine to erase him from history. The film also features fine performances from Laura Fraser, Lara Flynn Boyle, Mark Dymond, Henry Breitrose, Ron Cook and Robert Daws.
