About Lord of War
This
action adventure tale follows the exploits of jet-set arms dealer Yuri Orlov
(Nicolas Cage). Yuri, who prides
himself in having supplied “every army except the Salvation Army,” lives the
ultimate good life complete with the beautiful girl, Ava Fontaine.
Based on fact, the story moves through one deadly war zone after another
as Yuri strives to keep ahead of a relentless Interpol agent played by Ethan
Hawke, his rival arms dealers and some of his more notorious customers.
Along the way, Yuri begins to feel the sting of his own conscience and
eventually confronts the morality of his profession.
