About Lucky Number Slevin

A case of mistaken identity lands Josh Hartnett’s character Slevin in the middle of a gang war between rival New York crime bosses.  Sounds familiar, but no one’s snacking on cannolis in a dimly lit social club in this film.  Ben Kingsley plays The Rabbi, head of the Jewish crime family, and Morgan Freeman is The Boss, head of the black mobsters.  To add to his troubles, and the general confusion, Slevin is also under surveillance by Detective Brilkowski (Stanley Tucci) and the notorious assassin Goodkat (Bruce Willis).  With nowhere to turn for help, Slevin must devise his own plot to escape the chaos alive.  The film also stars Lucy Liu as Lindsey.
