About Miami Vice

Crockett and Tubbs are back, and badder than ever in this film based on the popular eighties drama of the same name.  Due to an inter-agency security breach, the FBI is forced to ask for help from the Miami authorities to go after a ruthless gang of narco-terrorists.  Detectives James “Sonny” Crockett (Colin Farrell) and Ricardo “Rico” Tubbs (Jamie Foxx) enter this dangerous world undercover as jet boat racers and drug smugglers.  Here they take on the vast and complex trafficking network of the elusive and mysterious Archangel de Jesus Montoya-Londono (Luis Tosar) and his beautiful Cuban Chinese banker, his wife Isabella (Gong Li).  The intensity of the case blurs the lines for Crockett and Tubbs, especially when Crockett falls for Isabella and Tubbs’ loved ones become a target of the cold blooded drug dealer’s wrath. The film also features Naomie Harris, John Ortiz, John Hawkes, Ciarán Hinds, Justin Theroux, Barry Shabaka Henley, Domenick Lombardozzi, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Jon Jacobs.
