About Mozart and the Whale
A young couple, each of whom has the form of autism known as Asperger’s Syndrome, meet and fall in love at a support group meeting. Donald (Josh Hartnett) is a cab driver who loves birds and has exceptional mathematical aptitude, along with somewhat of an obsession with patterns and routines. Isabelle (Radha Mitchell) is beautiful but complicated. The couple’s unique talents are offset by the difficulty they have in relating to one another, which threatens to destroy their relationship. The film also features Gary Cole, Allen Evangelista, Sheila Kelley, Erica Leerhsen, John Carroll Lynch, Nate Mooney, Rusty Schwimmer, Robert Wisdom, Christa Campbell and Wonder Russell.
