"WHILE SHE WAS OUT" stars Academy Award®-winner Kim Basinger ("L.A. Confidential," "8 Mile") and Emmy®-nominee Lukas Haas ("Alpha Dog," "The Ryan White Story"). "WHILE SHE WAS OUT" was executive produced by Guillermo del Toro ("Hellboy," "Pan's Labyrinth") and Don Murphy ("Transformers," "Natural Born Killers") and written/directed by Susan Montford ("Shoot 'Em Up"). Anchor Bay Entertainment will release the film theatrically December 12, 2008 with a national DVD release following in 2009.

Basinger delivers perhaps the most audacious performance of her career as Della, a suburban housewife, caught in a nightmare of violence and desperation as she is mercilessly stalked by a group of young thugs. Armed with only a toolbox and the will to survive, Della is engaged in a fight for her life and has to make it through the night or succumb to the rabid predators. Haas plays the manipulative psychopath leading the gang on their murderous rampage.
