Bruce Willis to Join Halle Berry in Revolution Studios' 'Perfect Stranger'  8/22/05

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce Willis has been tapped to star opposite Academy Award winner Halle Berry in the James Foley-directed psychological thriller "Perfect Stranger," it was announced today by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, partner at Revolution Studios and head of Revolution Studios' east coast office.

In the psychological thriller set in the world of the internet, Berry plays a woman who goes undercover, both on and offline, to investigate a friend's murder. Willis will play one of the chief suspects that Berry is investigating.

"We are delighted that Bruce is joining our cast and we are excited to be working with him," said Goldsmith-Thomas. "This is a movie about secrets, lies and internet chatter where suspects and villains often change roles, and an actor of Bruce's caliber will certainly add layers of complexity."

Willis is currently in pre-production on "Die Hard 4.0." He was most recently seen in "Sin City" and "Hostage." His other film credits include "The Sixth Sense," "Twelve Monkeys," "Die Hard: With a Vengeance," "Die Hard 2" and "Die Hard."

Goldsmith-Thomas will produce the project, which was originally written by John Bokenkamp ("Taking Lives"), with rewrites by Frank Rinzulli and Todd Komarnicki. Goldsmith-Thomas' credits include "Mona Lisa Smile," "Maid in Manhattan," "Little Black Book," and the American Girl series, based on the American Girl dolls, for Revolution Studios. She will next produce the comedy "Slammer" which will be directed by Adam Shankman and will star Sarah Jessica Parker. Deborah Schindler will serve as an executive producer on both projects.

The film is expected to begin production in the first quarter of 2006.
