SATURDAY, JANUARY 20 ON ABC
Jeff Bridges ("The Big Lebowski," "White Squall")

Based on a true story, this is the rags-to-riches tale of three men -
Johnny "Red" Pollard (Tobey Maguire), a half-blind

Howard, a millionaire who lost everything -- and Howard's down-and-out
racehorse named Seabiscuit. After teaming up, these three men rediscover
hope through Seabiscuit, who takes them -- and the nation -- on the ride

to Horse-of-the-Year honors in 1938.
"Seabiscuit" stars Jeff Bridges as Charlie Howard, Tobey
Maguire as Johnny "Red" Pollard, Valerie Mahaffey (TV's

The film, released in 2003, was written and directed by Gary Ross based
on the book by Laura Hillenbrand.
