THEY SUPPORT DANIEL CRAIG AS THE NEW JAMES BOND
Dench: "I Hope He's Given A Chance, He's Had A Lot Of Criticism
And It's A Hard Part To Play Anyway Without That. He Needs To Be Given A
Wonderful Chance And He's Terrific Casting."
BURBANK, Calif. - March 10, 2006- On the next "Access
Hollywood," Judi Dench and Clive Owen talk about how they think
Daniel Craig will measure up as the new James Bond. The interviews air on
"Access Hollywood," Friday, March 10, 2006 (Log on to

In response to the criticism Daniel Craig has received speculating that
he would not be able to step in as the new James Bond in the upcoming
"Casino Royale," Craig's co-star Judi Dench told Nancy O'Dell,
"I hope he's given a chance, he's had a lot of criticism and it's a
hard part to play anyway without that. He needs to be given a wonderful
chance & he's terrific casting."
In addition to Dench's support, Clive Owen, who many thought could have
been the next James Bond said, "I think when the film comes out, and
you know he's fantastic in it, all that, sort of tough time he's getting
will just disappear."
"Access Hollywood" is produced by NBC and distributed by NBC
