BURBANK, Calif. - March 27, 2006- Sharon Stone tells "Access
Hollywood's" Tim Vincent she stands behind her "Basic Instinct
2" co-star David Morrissey. The interview airs on "Access

When asked why she finally chose Morrissey to play opposite her in the
Basic Instinct sequel, Stone pointed out to Vincent, "In the first
film, I was the fourteenth choice to play Catherine Tramell. Thirteen
other actresses turned it down and yet now you don't think 'what would it
have been like to have someone else film it?' You think of me associated
with that role."
Stone added, "Trust me, in six months you are never going to think
of anyone else other than David Morrissey playing that part."
