DEARBORN, Mich., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Batman Begins: The IMAX Experience will make its debut at The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre on June 15th, where audiences will be able to see how the legend all began on a screen six stories tall. Batman Begins, which explores the origins of the Batman legend, has been digitally re-mastered into the unparalleled image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (digital re-mastering) technology. Moviegoers will immerse themselves in the world of Batman and Gotham City as they watch the film unfold on the huge IMAX screen, while surrounded by state-of-the-art digital surround sound.

Directed by Christopher Nolan (Memento) and produced by Emma Thomas, Charles Roven and Larry Franco, Batman Begins stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The story finds the disillusioned industrial heir Bruce Wayne, in the wake of his parents' murder, traveling the world to seek the means to fight injustice and turn fear against those who prey on the fearful. He returns to Gotham and unveils his alter-ego: Batman, a masked crusader who uses his strength, intellect and an array of high tech deceptions to fight the sinister forces that threaten the city.
