ABC to Air "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" May 25th  5/15/06

ABC REVS UP THE ACTION WITH "CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE," STARRING CAMERON DIAZ, DREW BARRYMORE AND LUCY LIU, ON "ABC'S THURSDAY MOVIE OF THE WEEK," MAY 25

"Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle," starring the dynamite trio of Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, will air as the "ABC Thursday Movie of the Week," MAY 25 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. Broadcast in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP, the film also stars are Bernie Mac (TV's "The Bernie Mac Show," "Ocean's Twelve") and Demi Moore ("G.I. Jane").

Natalie Cook (Cameron Diaz), Dylan Sanders (Drew Barrymore) and Alex Munday (Lucy Liu) are a fearsome, foxy and formidable team of agents. Together they work undercover for the Charles Townsend Detective Agency, assigned to find and return two missing jewelry bands. But there's a catch: These highly prized wedding rings contain invaluable information pertaining to every single person in the FBI's Witness Protection Program. When five witnesses in the program are found dead, only the Angels with their crime-fighting savvy can put a stop to the methodical and mysterious murders.

"Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" stars Cameron Diaz ("In Her Shoes"), Drew Barrymore ("Fever Pitch"), Lucy Liu ("Lucky Number Slevin"), Bernie Mac as Jimmy Bosley, Demi Moore as Madison Lee, Crispin Glover ("Willard") as the the Thin Man, Matt LeBlanc (TV's "Joey") as Jason and Luke Wilson ("Old School") as Pete.

The film, released in 2003, was directed by McG (TV's "The O.C."), with screenplay by John August ("Corpse Bride") and Cormac & Marianne Wibberly ("Bad Boys II").

"CHARLIE'S ANGELS: FULL THROTTLE" IN HDTV: The ABC Television Network's HDTV broadcast of "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" will air in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.

This film carries a TV-14,D,S,V parental guideline.
