Television Distribution's nationally syndicated movie review series
"Lyons & Bailes Reel Talk," hosted by renowned film critics,
Jeffrey Lyons and Alison Bailes, has assembled a stellar group of
exclusive A-list celebrity interviews and special co-hosts for the
upcoming November sweeps period.
In the coming weeks, "Reel Talk," which debuted in national
syndication this season, will feature exclusive sit-down interviews with
some of Hollywood's leading actors including Steve Carell, Jude Law, Vince
Vaughn and Keri Russell. The show will also have two special guest
co-hosts sitting in for Bailes, who gave birth to her second child,
Frederick, on October 18; Ben Lyons, from E!'s "The Daily 10"
and son of co-host Jeffrey Lyons, as well as, Entertainment Weekly's Dave
Karger.
"With the holiday movie crush coming, we will be able to give
viewers and film fans an opportunity to go behind-the-scenes with the top
stars on some of the most anticipated movies of the season," says
"Reel Talk" producer Mike Avila. "And with Alison taking
some time off to enjoy her new son, it's great that we will have Jeffrey's
son Ben able to help us fill that void, as well as respected film
journalist Dave Karger."
Steve Carell, star of NBC's "The Office," joins co-host
Jeffrey Lyons in-studio on October 27 to discuss the indie-movie
atmosphere on the set of his new film, "Dan in Real Life." On
November 3, Jude Law, the star and producer of the new version of
"Sleuth," talks about doing double duty on a movie shoot and
also hints at which Michael Caine movie he might want to remake next.
Vince Vaughn, drops by on November 10 to discuss playing Santa's
under-achieving brother in the holiday comedy "Fred Claus" and
Keri Russell, who earned rave reviews for her starring role in last
summer's "Waitress" and who is now top-lining the musical fable
"August Rush," will appear on "Reel Talk" Thanksgiving
weekend .
On October 27, "The Daily 10's" Ben Lyons will share the
stage with his dad to discuss the week's top new films; "Dan in Real
Life," "Before The Devil Knows You're Dead,"
"Rails" and "Ties Slipstream." On November 3,
Entertainment Weekly's Karger will step into the co-host role and discuss
the week's new films; "American Gangster," "Bee
Movie," "Martian Child," "Darfur Now" and
"Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten."
"Lyons & Bailes Reel Talk," a weekly half-hour movie
review series, debuted in national syndication the weekend of September
29-30, 2007. Hosted by renowned movie critics Jeffrey Lyons and Alison
Bailes, "Reel Talk" takes viewers behind the velvet rope and
provides an insider's perspective on the weekend's best entertainment
choices.
