About Prime

Rafi (Uma Thurman) is a 37-year-old, recently divorced career woman living in Manhattan who takes comfort in sessions with her therapist (Meryl Streep) and in the arms of her new, 23-year-old boyfriend (Bryan Greenberg).  Although therapist Lisa doubts that Rafi’s relationship is any more than a fling, she encourages her client to just enjoy herself…. until she discovers that the 23-year-old talented artist about whom Rafi has been divulging intimate, naughty details is her own son.  At this point, Lisa finds it pretty difficult to maintain the objective role of counselor.  Soon enough, the couple’s secret is out and they find themselves at the center of a comic storm of cultures, arguments, opinions and inevitable complications.
