About She's the Man

Viola Johnson (Amanda Byrnes) lives to play soccer, so when her team is cut from her own school, she disguises herself as her twin brother Sebastian (James Kirk) and takes his place at his new boarding school, Illyria Prep.  Sebastian is currently playing hooky over in London , trying to break into the British music scene.  No chance of him showing up unexpectedly and blowing her cover, so everything should go smoothly, right?    The inevitable complications begin when Viola, posing as Sebastian, falls for his hot roommate, Duke (Channing Tatum).  But alas, Duke is falling for the equally hot Olivia (Laura Ramsey).  But Olivia, for reasons even she cannot fathom, is falling for the caring and sensitive Sebastian, that is Viola – no – Sebastian, who’s really Viola but Olivia doesn’t know this, nor does she know that Sebastian, no – Viola, is falling for Duke, who’s hot, but only has eyes for Olivia, who….  And into this tangled web, who should be caught but the real Sebastian, arriving from London (that’s a tough scene to break into) two days earlier than expected, having no idea he’s been replaced by his twin sister Viola.  Or that his roommate is hot.
