About The Man
A
case of mistaken identity is the basis for this action-comedy.
When Federal Agent Derrick Vann’s partner turns up murdered on the
seedy streets of
Detroit
, it is discovered that the victim was on the take in a multi-million dollar
arms heist – and suspicious eyes are turned on Vann himself.
The veteran agent, who harbors plenty of his own suspicions, is given
just 24 hours to recover the weapons and find his partner’s killers.
His plans take a twist, however, when the thieves mistake dental supply
salesman Andy Fiddler, in town for a convention, for the arms buyer.
Now the hardcore Vann is forced to use the chatty salesman as the front
man in his sting operation. As time
runs out, the mismatched pair find themselves speeding through
Detroit
on adventures that uncover much more than the original crime.
