About The Sentinel
Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) is put in charge of the investigation of the murder of a colleague. Garrison is convinced that a Neo-Nazi Aryan Disciple has infiltrated the White House. However, Garrison soon finds himself the prime suspect in the crime, a victim of a blackmailer who knows about Garrison’s affair with the first lady, Sarah Ballentine (Kim Basinger). Framed for murder and stripped of his authority, Garrison is not deterred in his mission to find the real killer and save the life of the President. While attempting to unravel the mystery, Garrison confronts his well-trained protégé, Agent David Breckinridge (Kiefer Sutherland). Based on the novel by Gerald Petievich, the film also stars Eva Longoria, Raoul Bhaneja, Simon Reynolds, Danny A. Gonzales, Gloria Reuben, Clark Johnson, Martin Donovan, Jackie Burroughs, Paul Calderon, and Conrad Coates.
