About The Terminal

Tom Hanks star in this movie as an Eastern European immigrant who becomes an accidental resident of The Kennedy airport terminal in New York city when a war  causes his country to cease to exist thereby voiding his passport. Making the best of this predicament he makes friends with the airport staff and falls in love with a flight attendant played by Catherine Zeta-Jones.  This is based loosely on the story of Merhan Karimi Nasseri stuck in the airport in Paris since 1988.
