About The Weather Man

When the weather is the most predictable thing in a guy’s life, who could blame him for feeling like he’s lost control?  Such is the lot of Dave Spritz (Nicolas Cage), a popular TV weatherman in Chicago .  Dave is at the top of his game professionally, but at home his life is a shambles what with his marital problems, troubled kids, and his dad’s illness.  When Dave’s audition for a national morning TV show goes well, it seems that relocating his family to New York may be the answer.  But it all proves more complicated than he ever imagined, and life’s unpredictabilities, just like the weather, follow Dave wherever he goes.
