About Underclassman

When a student at an elite private school is found murdered, LA cop Tracy “Tre” Stokes (Nick Cannon) must go undercover as a student at the school.  Tre overcomes the culture shock with his edgy sense of humor and streetwise charm, which gets him in good with both his beautiful Spanish teacher (Roselyn Sanchez) and the captain of the school streetball team (Shawn Ashmore).  In the course of his investigation, Tre uncovers a car theft ring operating within the school, as well as more far-reaching evils that provide the motive for the student’s murder.  Although Stokes’ methods are not always by the book, police captain Victor Delgado (Cheech Marin) must concede that his rookie’s unorthodox talents get the job done.
